We love restaurants as much as you do. That’s why we’ve been helping them fill tables since 1947. Welcome to Lil’ Dizzy’s Cafe
Lil’ Dizzy’s Cafe opened in 2005 on the corner of Esplanade Avenue and N. Robertson Street not too far from where the Chicken Coop once stood.
Monday to Friday 07:00am – 02.00p.m

Ate here for lunch and tried the seafood and veg omlet with grits and sweet tea. Yummy!!! Friendly staff, quick service, reasonable cost and extensive menu selection. Enjoyed the personable small town feel.
Delicious food! Great service. Many locals (that's how we found out about it), not a cheap tourist trap with lousy food. Buffet has fried chicken, mac n cheese, bread pudding--about $15--and other menu items looked equally delicious on the tables nearby. Only open for breakfast & lunch. Easy walk to the French Quarter. Must visit if you're in NOLA.
Have the fried chicken! Simple delicious local restaurant. Great if you want to get away from the tourist areas. Your first time, I suggest the buffet so that you get a little bit of everything. Call ahead to see what time the buffet opens. You won't be disappointed!
Truly authentic New Orleans. Locals go here. Feels closer to dining with family and friends in grandma's house than dining at a restaurant. All the Creole favorites with some unexpected surprises as well. #RedBeansAndRice
Delicious food and amazing service. The fried chicken was crispy on the outside and melt in your mouth on the inside. If you're in the mood to eat, tell buffet is a great deal.
We had Sunday Brunch at Lil Dizzy's. It was some of the best food we've ever had. The biscuits actually brought a tear to my eye. The gumbo, fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, greens, french toast, and biscuits we're perfection. I can't wait to have an excuse to return.
Awesome local breakfast and lunch spot. Worth going out of the way for and waiting for a table. The house made biscuits and French toast are the best!
Lord... the Mac and cheese and Bread pudding freaking amazing. Everything else was great too including service. Lil dizzy is the sweetest man walking! He makes everyone feel like their at home!
A local restaurant with excellent home cooked food. The buffet price is affordable for everyone both for breakfast and lunch. The staff works hard to serve all customers promptly and they are friendly. The owner runs an efficient operation. I recommend this restaurant to all of my family visiting New Orleans.
The fried chicken, jambalaya, and bread pudding were the stars of the show.
My go to spot for good fried chicken and gumbo. Stopped in today for brunch, had the buffet as always, left feeling like a fat pig, lol. The wait staff represents everything New Orleans. A little pricey I must admit considering the buffet choices are very limited but it does not deter me from going back.
The FIRST place I go whenever I get to New Orleans. The food has been nothing less than great every time I go. I will keep it high in my restaurant rotation.
